Mighty Mason
What a wonderful week we've had with this funny boy! He has kept me hopping, for sure - I fell asleep at 6:00 last night and slept until after 6:00 this morning! We've been to the pool every day, worked on potty training and speech therapy ... often at the same time, and played, and played, and played:
Wednesday we went to Brenda's and he played with the boys - hopefully this fun with the sockem-boppers won't result in a new hitting stage ...
Brenda and Mason, reunited ...
These are his two favorite trains. He had one in each hand almost every minute he was awake, but every now and again I would find them someplace unexpected.
ALL his trains!! He played with them almost exclusively all week long.
One of the few times he was corraled ... and of course he did it to himself!

Magnificent Mason
Mason loves Papa. I mean, he REALLY loves his Papa!! I apparently don't read this book correctly because I am no longer allowed ... only Papa.
We've been working on potty training this week - he's actually doing really well! And he LOVES his big boy shorts.
Art is just never going to be a strong suit in this family I guess. This is his first attempt at painting. Look closely - you can see the counter-top shining through in several places because he was so violent that there are multiple holes painted through it. I'm still not quite sure how this happened.
Okay the package said that these water wings in the next picture are supposed to be for a two year old, and he's no tiny two year old, but somehow they cover his arm from shoulder to wrist. It's that midget thing again ... and they only served to keep him warm, not keep him afloat, because he totally REFUSED to get in the 18" of water in the pool yesterday. (He did better today though!)
Oh and check out the Spiderman underwear - he gets to wear these as a reward when he goes pee on the potty. He carries them around with him whenever he's not wearing them, and when he is wearing them he checks himself out a lot. It's pretty amusing.

Sweet family ...
The whole fam on the couch - how cute! Even Tink makes an appearance on what's left of Christa's lap, and of course Blankie is present as well.
We have Mason the destructo-baby this week while the rest of them are at the lake - we are having a blast with him! He is so funny and has such a twisted sense of humor ... I think I've had more "belly laughs" because of the stuff he's done in the last three days than I have in the last year! He definitely makes me happy.
Something else that happened last week makes me very very happy ... you know who you are ... reconciliation with a loved one is just the most precious blessing and I am so thankful! God is good!
