Mason's birthday was Friday, and his party was yesterday ... yes, I'm slow to post but that seems to be the story of my life these days! The good news is he doesn't care at all! :)
The theme of his party was trains, specifically Thomas the Tank Engine - he is all about his trains right now! Although you couldn't tell by the look on his face when his cake was set in front of him - it was really funny. Seemed like he was just a little overwhelmed by the whole thing! Thankfully he had his big sister close at hand to blow out his candles for him.
He went for his 2-year doctor's checkup today - the kid has grown 3 3/4 inches in the last six months!!! Oh my gosh! He's only gained a pound, so he is on the charts both in height and weight for the first time in his short life - 90th percentile in both categories, but at least he's on the chart! His doctor is predicting he will be 6'2" ... will someone please explain how that can happen when his parents are practically midgets?? (I mean that in the most loving possible way, guys!)
I have a hilarious picture of Lexi from yesterday, but I'll just describe it because if I posted it I would get my site flagged for child pornography again ... the poor child has been blessed with a booty that results in one butt cheek hanging out ALL THE TIME! You'd think she would feel it, but apparently she's so used to it she doesn't even notice ... dresses and swimsuits might be a little too revealing this summer!

Happy Birthday to Mason. 6'2" huh? I umm don't know what to say to that. Its like an impossibility. JR is like what 5'5" tall or some other ridiculously short measurement(I love you J) Anyways it would be hilarious to see him tower over his pa. We'll just have to wait and see.
I just about fell over laughing when I read the midget comment. How in the world does that happen? Two short parents make a giant child??
Also, Lexi and Madsey will have the hanging butt cheek in common. Mads' lefty always hangs out in a swimsuit. Always. I continue to go over and "fix it" and then it just pops back out. I'll try to get some goog shots of those two on our upcoming trip.

Emily that's hilarious - Lexi's right cheek is always the culprit - they'll be a matched set! Definitely get some pictures! Christa wanted me to post the picture I got - it is hilarious - but I think Lexi's daddy might have died if I did. :)
Sheila I agree about that picture of Mason - he's the funniest little dude! He will so interesting to watch grow up, don't you think? :)
