This is what I see out my kitchen window. I read yesterday that nature is not primarily functional, but rather it is primarily beautiful. I would have to agree. I've never seen so much green in my life!
B.J. leaves tomorrow for San Diego until Christmas - he'll be doing a youth ministry internship at a big church called "The Rock." He's very excited and ready to go - we'll miss him! We are planning to go see him in September so will look forward to that.
I'm headed out to walk at Shawnee Mission Park with my good friend Joan, and then will get to go watch the grandbabies for awhile this afternoon. Life is good.
