What a week!!

This is what our week felt like ... pushing uphill!! (It was amazing that he figured out how to roll this ball up the stairs without anyone showing him, by the way.)

Miss Callie gave us quite a scare this week - she started out with neon yellow drainage from her nose, then started vomiting the same stuff and running a fever ... long story short we spent two days at Children's Mercy and the poor baby was subjected to IV's, monitors, drinking barium (which she actually devoured because she hadn't been allowed to eat in so long) as they were afraid she had some sort of obstruction. Thankfully all the tests came back ok, and whatever it was apparently ran its course because she is home now and doing fine.

Check out Brenda's blog (link to the left) to see what the "big kids" were doing while we were praying and fretting in the hospital - what a huge blessing it was to know they were not just safe and secure but being loved and adored during that time. Even though Lexi was NOT adorable much of the time. Thankfully she did choose to apologize to Brenda the next day, as well as to her mommy for dumping and then stomping on (no kidding) the flowers daddy brought her when Callie was born - a little jealousy, maybe?? Yikes!

This next picture was taken the Friday after Callie was born - we kept Lexi and Mason overnight and Papa had some sweet time with them the next morning.

And here she is in all her splendor - beautiful sweet baby. We're all in love. More tomorrow - I have MANY pictures to post so check back!

What a gorgeous sweet baby! :) I am so thankful to our awesome God that Callie is doing so much better now. What a crazy and scary week it was. It was so fun to have Lexi and Mason over nite, to check in on them before I went to bed and see their sweet sleeping faces.
